Backyard

The first pic is the back of our house.  We are finally getting settled in.  It is so nice to be in a house verses apartment.  Yukine loves the backyard.  There are lots of plants to inspect and flowers to smell.  The second pic os of grapes.  We have two grape vines, but I have no idea how to take care of them.  Hopefully we will be able to eat them at the end of the summer.

Pink Umbrella

Baba and Jiji sent Yukine a pink umbrella and rain boots.  Yukine has been talking about wanting a pink umbrella for months and she is so excited to finally have one.  Now we just have to wait for it to rain!

Erin visit

Erin came down for a visit finally!  Yukine and Erin got to be great friends and we had lots of fun. Thanks for coming Erin!

Picnic

We were invited to a picnic with the kids Yukine will be going to youchien (japanese preschool) with this fall. It was such a nice day, complete with an egg hunt and a box of ladybugs! Yukine was so excited to start hunting eggs, I could hardly get her to open up the box of ladybugs. She, of course, sported her new glasses. She had a great time running around and playing with the other kids. I am really excited for her to start preschool in September.

New Sunglasses!

Yukine got new pink sunglasses, and a few new clothes too. She has been growing so fast! We had a nice day and finished it off with okonomiyaki. Yukine loves any kind of dinner that she can help cook. She is quite the little helper these days.
