We took Yukine to the neighborhood shrine on Friday for a special ceremony called "Omiyamairi". This is to pray to the local god for health and happiness for Yukine. First, the priest spoke to the god and announced our presence. Then, Tetsushi, Akemi, and Yukine prayed to the god, and then I prayed to the god. Yukine was a good girl and slept through the whole thing!
